The Story Teller

It was warm enough outside yesterday for the children and me to spend some time in the sunshine.  Sophia and Cohen played in the herb garden which is now over grown with weeds.  Sophia squealed with excitement each time she saw one of the many bright yellow butterflies that were flitting about.  Although I tried I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of one .
Sophia and Cohen sit on sun warmed paving stones and Sophia tells Cohen a story she makes up about witches and being lost away from home.  The little girl in her story is
" lost for 10 days " and is afraid she will "never see this land again."

Here they walk through the " castle house ",  the garden path marking off each of the many rooms.
This morning glory vine is the front door which can be easily swung open and closed.  It has a doorbell that rings each time Sophia says, " Ring the doorbell, Grandma'. ",  and Grandma' sings, " Ding-Dong " !
