First bounty!

As you can see the garden is coming along nicely.
I can't get over how fast everything has grown.  I think the really exciting stuff is starting now though.  Most of the plants energy is going into producing vegetables so the filling out and getting taller is slowing. . We have not had the night rain fall we had  as we did when the garden was planted this is causing the plants to look a bit dehydrated.   The very hot day temperature and harsh sun are  also contributing to it's looking a bit droopy.  We may need to start watering it in the evenings.

Sophia runs to catch Cohen so she can shade him form the sun's rays. Alas , her victory is short lived as Cohen is determined not to let her jail him under her frog umbrella turned parasol.  ( You can't see it in the picture, but Sophia is holding on to Cohen's arm and trying to make him stay in her shade. )

I was able to catch a few pictures that I'll share with you here.

Notice the pie wedge shaped amputation on the Tiger Swallow Wing's left wing. He was able to fly fine in spit of the injury.

The kids and I joined Margaret and Jim in the pool yesterday evening.  It was wonderful.  The water was nice and warm.  I'll share pictures of the pool very soon.  Yippee!
