My friend, Kelley, treated me to a weekend at her condo in Myrtle Beach, SC. We attended a scrap-a-thon held at the Sheraton. We were inside scrap-booking for the majority of the day, and into the evening. After a day of working on our scrapbooks we were able to walk on the beach, and, since I rose earlier than Kelley, I was able to spend time out on the sand in the wee hours of the early morning. We also stayed a full day after the scrap-booking event was over. I tried to walk on the beach as much as I could...no luck with finding any really neat shells though. (I really didn't expect to as Myrtle doesn't usually have many shells wash up along it's beach. ) I did bring home two nice Lady Fingers and many interesting pieces of shells. I placed them in my treasure cabinet along with my many other wonderful finds from previous outings I have made.
