The Blessed Mother takes a spill.

Oops!  Sorry....

The Blessed Mother couldn't take the pressure Sophia had placed on her and she toppled under the strain. You can just imagine our shock and surprise.  Not to mention what it must have done to Mary.  Murphy didn't even stick around to see if Our Lady was hurt. As you can see in the above photo, he just got the hell outta' Dodge.   He was screaming something about not being near her as he put distance between himself , Sophia , and Mary.  So much for loyalty...By the grace of God Mary was not injured and as soon as she was again on her feet Sophia was forgiven all. 

  

Now, I ask you,  Is this the face of a Mary tipper?

Working on Holiday Projects

Sophia has been putting in long hours in order to prepare the house for Christmas.  I think she has done a wonderful job on her artistic creations,  we want to share them with you here.  Enjoy! 


Sophia uses glitter and glue to do her abstract work.  She told me she had to have her tongue out of her mouth in order to paint.  She was glad to oblidge when I asked for her photograph.

I might need to try that tongue stuff as Sophia’s  art is much more aesthetic than mine!

The deer are made from templates of her hands and feet.  Diamonds are used for the eyes and a ruby for the nose. 

Cohen is more interested in exploring than anything else.

I am sure this boy is going to go on to discover great things....not now, and surely not in my knitting bag, but someday!

Sophia galloped up to me on her horse and greeted me with, a slow drawn out,

 " Hey there partner."!

And here is Cyrus doing his best to get me to pick him up.  " Don't leave me hangin', man! "  Of course, I did pick him up.

Cohen and Sophia come for a visit.

Sophia and Cohen came for a visit yesterday.  Their mommy, Toni, had a job interview and I took care of them while she was there.  I hadn't seen any of Vincent's family for over a week as they have all had colds. ( If I don't have a 'hug fix' I'm apt to go into withdrawl.)  Sophia was feeling well, where as, Cohen,  still had a bit of a stuffed up nose and wasn't feeling well.
