Happy Birthday Cohen

We all celebrated Cohen's second birthday on Friday night. ( 01-27-2012 )



It was a very enjoyable get together. The kids had great fun playing with Cohen's presents and Sophia enjoyed tickling everyone she could with a tail feather that Cyrus lost during his last molt.
 Cohen is into Thomas the Train and everything from his PJs to his books have something to do with Thomas. 


Cohen received a Thomas cake with a real Thomas the train on it.  A travel case that opens into a track with Thomas the Train  so he would never be without him,  and a colorful,  soft, Thomas roll- up blanket that will go anywhere with him too.





And his Godfather sent a wonderful phonics game that is like a keyboard that speaks and sounds out the letters that you push.  Cohen will loves that.

Even Cyrus had fun watching all the party fun.

I missed my daughter-in-law's birthday yesterday!  Wendy, I apologize!  I surely hope you had a good day and that everyone else remembered to send you gifts and greetings on this most important of days.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COHEN !!

1 year old today!

I was given the royal treatment when I arrived at Sophia's today.  Toni, Cohen, and Sophia greeted me with happy birthday wishes and cupcake treats which Toni and Sophia had made.  Sophia cleaned and decorated her bedroom so we could party in there.  She did a wonderful job of decorating and embellishing balloons and then hanging them.  She even made a special card for Aunt Margaret and enough cup cakes so I could bring them home to her this evening.  

 After I blew out my birthday candle we all had cake.

Sophia held a tea party in my honor.  She had her closest friends to join us and we had a wonderful relaxing afternoon.

  After our tea Sophia performed a dance program for me.  She even sang to accompany herself.  It was beautiful!

                             I wish I had roses to throw at her feet!

And, When It Was Over, IT WAS OVER!
