Christmas Wreath

Margaret had our niece and her family over for dinner Friday evening.  When they arrived they were laden with gifts for us.  Margaret received a beautiful wreath as did I.  I’ve hung mine over a mirror to help reflect it’s beautiful colors and glitter.  As you can see, it is huge, and full of wonderful delights.   PC120007

It smells good too!

Think Summer Time Thoughts

Cyrus and I were just chatting and he suggested I put a few summer pictures on the blog so we could enjoy the warm weather for a few moments and once again gaze upon green leaves and pretty spring flowers.   So, here for Cyrus, and all you cold folks out there, is Cyrus’ choice of photographs.

A Child's View

One way to see things through a child’s eyes is to let them take pictures.  It sure does change the way things look!  Sophia took these shots today.

This morning Sophia put on her cowboy hat and said, ” You can call me cowgirl today.”  And said I could take her picture.

Yesterday she told me,  “I think I’m going to love Santa Claus, Grandma.”

All Creatures Great and Small

When I arrived to stay with Sophia and Cohen today they were both feeling miserable because of having received booster ‘shots’ yesterday.  Sophia was on the couch watching a movie with cartoon ants.  I sat down beside her and she ignored me.  She was busy throwing tiny pieces of bread onto the laptop keyboard.  It seems in the movie the ants needed food and she had gotten a piece of bread and was trying to feed them!

Cohen and Sophia took nice long naps and actually did very well in spite of being out of sorts.  We had an all around nice day with a lot of laughter and smiles..PC070021
