One day last week the children and I enjoyed a day at the children's museum and one of our state's national parks.

It's the beginning of a new school year!  We sure had two happy faces here this morning.

I am going to be so very lost without my babies here with me.  

We celebrated a birthday this month....Happy Birthday, Toni!  Doesn't she look great for 73?!

It's a hard life.....

I have been gone too long!  This absence has been due to the fact that my computer died and I have not replaced it.  More than a year ago my wonderful daughters gifted me with a Kindle Fire, which I have had in constant use for all of my computer needs.  My one computing exception has been the updating of this blog.  I kept thinking I would be able to replace my lap top but, since that's not going to happen anytime soon,  I'll go ahead and give using my trusty Kindle at shot at blogging....I've missed you guys!
