This is a window into the world in which I live. It is more often than not filled with the bright and beautiful; sometimes blanketed with rain and shadow. In either case, I will share what I am able to share with you in the hope of widening your world even if only by the tiniest bit. Thank you for visiting and do leave a comment to brighten and widen my world too.

OUT ON THE TOWN !
Vincent, Toni and the children invited me to dinner this evening and much to their surprise and delight I accepted. Actually, what Vincent said was, " Do you think you could get yourself out of bed long enough for us to take you to dinner ? " They extend this invitation quite a bit and I turn them down quite a bit too, but, as I said, this time I took 'em up on the offer. It didn't take too much outta' me 'cause I'd cleaned myself up this mornin'. Even washed ma' hair. I guess that's why when Sophia saw me she said, and this is the honest to God's truth, " Grandma', you've got a big head ! "
Must be the humidity.
Enjoying the ride to Lexington Barbecue Restaurant
We live in the "Barbecue Capital of the World" !
See how happy that makes the younguns!

Grandparent’s Day at Sophia’s School
Yesterday was Grandparent’s Day at Sophia’s school. I was able to have breakfast with Sophia and go to Chapel with her. We were both pretty excited about the day and had a great time. There were a lot of proud grandparents and happy grandchildren there
Beautiful Sophia..
When I had Sophia seat belted into her car-seat and was in the front ready to back out of the garage as I turned to look out the back window Sophia gave me a quizzical look and asked, " Grandma' are you still Daddy's mommy? " I said, " Yes. Why? Because I look different? " She said " Yes." Guess that tells me if I'm in bed in my PJ's too much!
For the life of me I couldn't center us in a self portrait. I did manage to get our smiles in the frame and that makes the picture, don’t you think? Sophia asked me not to use the flash because " it breaks my eyes." And as the service started to get too long she told me "I want to get outta' here."
Outside in the church yard was
A Nice Touch of Color
These crocus and daffodils were blooming in one of the church flower beds.
All the trees are still bare and it is windy and chilly to cold each day but you can tell Spring will be hear soon.
It was a wonderful morning.
THANK YOU SOPHIA!
