This is a window into the world in which I live. It is more often than not filled with the bright and beautiful; sometimes blanketed with rain and shadow. In either case, I will share what I am able to share with you in the hope of widening your world even if only by the tiniest bit. Thank you for visiting and do leave a comment to brighten and widen my world too.

Heart Walk
Goodness! I didn't post these pictures from the Oct 17 Heart Walk held in Tanglewood Park in Clemmons. It was a fun event. I'm glad I went. Of course, there were several of the staff members from the Cardiac Rehab. group I belong to at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, and as you can see, many participants from around the area. The weather was cold and dreary but it didn't seem to keep too many away.

Cyrus at Play
Let's enjoy a few more pictures of Cyrus, my funny companion. He talks up a storm, telling the dogs to "Stop!" when they start to bark, and he will call them in with a "Come on!", to hurry them in the door if I have let them outside. He will tell me, "I'll be back.", when I go out, and greet me with a "Hello" when I return. He will speak into his clay food bowl just to hear the echo and feel the reverberations, but, mostly, he is a sweet guy that is content to stay on his stand and watch me as I scrapbook and work on my card making projects.

Rain!
It has been raining cats and dogs for days, as it usually does in February, and the wind has been blowing as if it were March.. I don't know where we can go from January if this keeps up! I guess the ice and snow can still usher in those last dreary months of the winter.
I actually enjoy cloudy, rainy days like today. I like being snug inside and seemingly protected by the low clouds and heavy rains. The world is blanked in gauze like fog and the rain covers and muffles all sound and cleans all the grass and leaves. The trees seem to lift their heads a little higher after a good bath and the birds sing out their delight when the sun starts to shine again. Oh World, I cannot hold thee close enough!
